Car checks for winter
Checks to ensure your car continues to run smoothly during winter
- Engine: Check the oil level and add anti-freeze to your windscreen washer fluid to prevent it from freezing.
- Lights: Check that all the lights are working properly, including the fog lights.
- Tyres: Check the tyres frequently to make sure they have enough air pressure and tread depth for safe driving on slippery roads.
- Be prepared for emergencies: Keep some blankets, water and relevant phone numbers in your car in case you break down.
