We're thrilled Pye Homes have won both the highly-competitive ‘Small Housebuilder of the Year’ and the ‘Best Design For Three Storeys or Fewer’ category for our new Park View development.
They were one of only a handful of property developers from across the UK to have been shortlisted twice for the finals by a panel of expert judges.
“To have been nominated not once, but twice in such hard fought categories, with such stiff competition from across the UK, was a huge achievement in itself,” said Pye's MD Graham Flint.
“However to win both awards really is a huge cause for double celebration. It is a testament to the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of everyone involved and I am incredibly proud of their efforts, in what has been a hugely challenging year for all of us.
“To have been recognised as among the very best by a panel of such experienced judges from the industry is particularly rewarding, and it will spur us on to continue building exceptional new homes that we can all be extremely proud of,” he added.
We're working with Pye Homes and the award-winning ADAM Architecture, who specialise in classical and traditional designs, which sit harmoniously with their surroundings, at Park View.
"It is really wonderful that Park View has been recognised in this way. Good design is one thing, but delivering that vision requires a strong and enduring partnership between the architect and housebuilder. Park View is testament to that solid relationship. We are really delighted to have formed such a positive bond with the excellent team at both Blenheim and Pye Homes." said Hugh Petter of ADAM Architecture.
Overlooking the Blenheim Park, Park View is the first community built by Pye Homes to incorporate legacy principles, which recognise that long-term landowners have a social, economic and moral responsibility to deliver homes of which its local community can be proud.
Park View sets new standards with designs that utilise sustainable local building materials and techniques to integrate with the surrounding communities and blend with the wider world. Protecting and enhancing the local environment with the aim of ensuring the quality of life for future generations.
The Housebuilder Awards are organised by Housebuilder Media, the leading information provider for the housebuilding industry, with a portfolio that includes the industry’s leading magazine and business conference.
All shortlisted finalists have to display excellence in overall design, including aesthetics, suitability for purpose and sustainability issues in new homes.
