New Homes Week

This week we are celebrating all things new homes.

We thought we would take this opportunity to celebrate the diverse communities we’re creating and their unique features. We have homes ranging from timeless traditional Cotswold stone at Park View, Woodstock, to modern eco properties that could reduce your carbon emissions, at Church Farm, Radley.

In the past, new homes have had a reputation of lacking character or individuality. Something which is certainly not the case at our Park View development in Woodstock, where each home has been thoughtfully and uniquely designed to reflect the existing architecture of the town. The homes are crafted with a blend of new and traditional methods, using a variety of sustainable materials that are designed to last. This community also includes a higher-than-average biodiversity net-gain by incorporating wildflower meadows, dry stone walls, bird and bat boxes along with bee bricks, creating a variety of habitats for wildlife.

Ahead of the curve of the Future Homes Standard goal, our most future-proofed development to date, Church Farm in Radley, is a collection of modern energy-efficient homes. Featuring flush solar panels and a heating system powered by air-source heat pumps. An alternative low carbon way to heat your home, that is better for the environment as this method can be up to 350% more efficient than the average gas boiler! This community also features hedgehog highways, bee bricks, and bird and bat boxes, along with 1.8 hectares of wildflower meadows and the addition of 3 miles of new cycle paths. Around 25% of this community is dedicated to green open space, for improved wellbeing and a great reason to choose one of these new homes.

Following the success and welcoming reception from the local community of our first development in Marcham, we’re currently building our second. These new homes stand out in terms of design and spaciousness. Lack of storage space is a common concern when purchasing a new build property, but our Temple Gate homes, have ample storage cupboards and plenty of open space, allowing you to keep your living areas clear and giving you room to breathe and space to enjoy. The homes are uniquely encompassed by trees, reinforcing the feeling of living in the heart of the countryside whilst remaining a practical distance to city life, being only 15-minutes from Oxford!
