Last week, we invited Park View residents to join award-winning photographer Pete Seaward for an exclusive photography event at the Palace, as part of our ongoing commitment to engaging with the local community.
At the complimentary workshop, residents were taken on an autumnal ‘golden hour’ tour of Pete’s favourite locations to photograph across the Palace and Estate, enabling them to explore parts they may not have visited before.
Pete demonstrated a variety of his preferred angles to take the perfect scenic shot, and offered helpful tips and tricks of landscape and wildlife photography along the way. This included shots for professional cameras and smartphones.
Pete Seaward is a photographer with more than 30 years’ experience. His work has seen him travel internationally and has frequently featured in national newspapers and major online publications such as The Guardian, The Times, Tatler and Getty Images.
Park View resident, Debbie, said of the event:
It was a pleasure to hear about Pete’s life and experience with photography. His pictures were excellent, and I do feel that I came away with more knowledge of photography and Blenheim Estate's grounds. I look forward to looking out for some of the places he took pictures of on my next visit.
Danielle Simpson, Sales Director at Pye Homes, commented:
“Thanks to this unique location, there is so much beauty for our residents to enjoy right on their doorsteps. In addition to complimentary annual passes to Blenheim Palace, Park and Gardens, these types of events we host are seen as a huge perk for our residents as they are a great way to engage the community and get neighbours talking and spending time together. There are so many fantastic things to do and see around Park View”.
