The award is for individuals, companies and products that are helping create a solid future for the success of the real estate sector.
Judges were looking for clear evidence of businesses or individuals that are utilising new technologies, new methods or new ways of thinking or approaching business to deliver a real estate proposition for the future.
We are the only representative of the UK’s Land and Estates in the category which showcases developments in tech and the built environment, modern methods of construction and urbanisation,
Roger File, our COO and Property Director, said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised among so many for our future thinking, in an award that judges purpose as well as performance.
“Blenheim are doing things differently by building to legacy principles and ensuring the houses we build fit with the local vernacular, are high quality and that people will be proud to still see in 300 years.
“We hope that our approach encourages others to consider how they build too, because together we can change the way houses are built in the UK. Alongside our commitment to affordable housing and community building, we also want to build truly sustainable developments,” he added.
Property is an integral part of our 10-year development programme that includes tripling our Estate’s contribution to the local economy, delivering 300 truly affordable homes for local families and creating a £45m endowment fund to ensure the long-term future of our World Heritage Site.
The finalists in Future of Real Estate Award category are: Blenheim Estate Homes, Built-ID, IMMO Capital, Smart Spaces, Urban Splash, VU.CITY and WiredScore.
The EG Awards 2021 will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, on 28th October.
