Home creation journey
The creation of homes at Hill Rise on the edge of Woodstock, Oxfordshire continues to take shape as an exciting new community of high-quality houses and apartments, which have been designed around the principles of sustainability, community and wellbeing. This innovative neighbourhood is being delivered by Blenheim Estate Homes, with build partner Pye Homes, and is an exciting next step for Blenheim, following the success of their community Park View, also in Woodstock.
From the outset, sustainability has been a defining pillar of the Hill Rise vision:
Renewable energy as standard
Each home is being built with low-carbon technologies such as solar panels, air-source heat pumps and there will be EV charging to minimise non-renewable energy use by residents.
Landscaping and biodiversity
The masterplan places strong emphasis on landscape and nature, with community green spaces, community allotments, walking/cycling routes and public rights of way integrated throughout.
Greener lifestyle
The layout of the homes have been thoughtfully designed to be promote pedestrian travel, connecting residents to the Public Right of Ways and numerous permissive and community paths which Blenheim provide.
Careful construction is being guided by an award-winning landscape masterplan that ensures new homes sit harmoniously within generous open spaces, public footpaths and landscaped areas which connect with the existing homes and complement the neighbouring Blenheim Park.
We are working alongside skilled craftspeople and material suppliers with the expertise to deliver high quality new homes.
These features not only contribute to lower carbon emissions and potential operating costs for residents, but also create an environment that supports healthier, greener living.
The homes are taking shape, with structures rising, street scenes beginning to form and the in-roof solar being installed. We are working hard to welcome visitors from early 2026 and will share further updates regarding the opening of our show home and launch of the community soon.
