Wildlife Conservation

Our extensive Parkland is an ideal habitat for the abundance of wildlife that lives here.
Wildlife Conservation

The Great Lake and surrounding woodland are home to an array of bird species including geese, herons, ducks, moorhens, swans, woodpeckers and pheasants.

We work closely with a variety of conservation agencies to safeguard our protected species, which can be found throughout the Park. The Grand Bridge is home to thousands of bats, and you may spot beetle traps hanging from trees around the Estate as we track the different varieties that have made their home here. If you walk the extended woodland trail around the Park perimeter, you may spot wild deer, muntjacs, hares, rabbits, or flocks of sheep.
