Banbury Road and Hill Rise Public Consultation
Since we last shared with you our intentions to build at the Hill Rise and Banbury Road sites we have carried out a housing needs survey and two public consultation events. Our appointed architects Pollard Thomas Edwards have utilised this feedback and we now wish to share with you our plans and further details for your comments.
Our proposals have been designed to respect and enhance the character of our local area. The designs respect the nearby heritage and conservation areas that Woodstock is famous for, providing generous outdoor spaces which compliment and preserve exisiting views and their natural habitats.
These new communities will provide a broad range of energy efficient homes with plenty of open space around them making walking, cycling and playing a part of everyday life. We aim to prioritise affordable homes for local people and key workers while enriching Woodstock and its surroundings.
What happens next?
Following an online public consultation, which finished on Friday 19th June, the planning applications have been submitted and they are currently under consideration with West Oxfordshire District Council.
Further information is expected in Autumn 2022.
