- August 2023
June is the signal that time is flying too fast, six months into the year and the longest day has passed. With summer still in full swing it is time to rewind and look back at the sixth month of the year.
Bertie's Batch
Following on from the abundance of warm welcomes in May, June welcomed the newest generation of cattle to our herd. This new age of calves is particularly interesting as they come from our Bull, Bertie, who joined the herd last year, making these calves the first of a new generation.
Churchill's Walk
A vibrant kaleidoscope of herbaceous florals has bloomed beside the Churchill Walk within our Gardens. Our Gardners planted these seeds in the hope that they would transform the path and create wonderful scenery for the historic walk.
Resounding Roses
Our Rose Garden is one of the most lnstagramable spots on our Estate and for good reason too, and the warm weather in June allowed our Rose Garden to bloom beautifully. Throughout the summer our Gardeners will be nurturing and watering the roses, to ensure they thrive.
Secrets Discovered
Our Gardeners have been working hard to restore the 10th Duke's secret sanctuary. Over time, our once well-maintained Secret Garden has become overgrown, and nature had begun to take its course. To restore our Gardens, we have taken on the task to give them some much-needed tender loving care. They have also erected a fence around the perimeter to keep wildlife out and to ensure the plants within will flourish.

Along with Pye Homes, we are celebrating after winning ‘Best Residential Development of the Year – Large Scheme’ at the prestigious OxPropFest Awards.
As we look forward to the summer months, let us take a moment to reflect on some of our favourite moments from May.
