Sponsor a Tree for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Leave a legacy in honour of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

To commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we will be planting a new public avenue of trees within our 2000 acre of UNESCO World Heritage site. The trees, which have been grown from acorns or seeds on the Estate will be flanked by native wildflowers to encourage pollinators.

We are asking for local businesses to support the Jubilee tree planting. Each tree will be charged at £150 and the money will go towards the planting, care and upkeep of the historic avenue for years to come.

Once the avenue is planted, you will be able to visit and watch the trees grow year on year and the wildflowers bloom each summer. To thank you for your sponsorship, there will be an engraved plaque with each business who has kindly donated to the Jubilee Avenue.

The avenue will be a mixture of Sweet Chestnut and Rowan which have been grown from our older trees on our estate.

Trees will be planted in winter later this year by our Rural team.

The wildflower mix has been carefully crafted from a variety of species that are native to the UK. The variety of seeds have been shown to have been Britain for over 400 years, making them the perfect forage for native pollinators.
